Cintura LED Small Alabaster Floating Suspension Light - Soft White

The Cintura Small is a 1000mm x 400mm oval suspension light built around a continuous ring of natural Spanish alabaster, with an 80mm section profile and 100mm stone diameter. The ring is suspended from a warm brown copper top bar by four brown leather straps, with an integrated 50W LED running through the stone to produce 3000K warm white light. The alabaster section itself acts as the diffuser, glowing softly along its full perimeter when lit.

The compact format suits kitchen islands of 1.2-2m in length, smaller dining tables, and bedroom installations where a pair flanks a bed. The 1500mm cable drop is adjustable on installation, allowing the ring to sit 700-800mm above a worktop or table. The horizontal copper bar fixes flush to the ceiling and conceals the driver, while the leather straps carry the visible suspension load down to the stone ring.

Each alabaster section reveals different mineral veining and tonal variation depending on the block it was cut from, so no two Cintura rings light up identically. The combination of solid copper, full-grain leather and natural stone creates a layered material palette - warm metal at the top, supple leather midway down, and translucent stone at eye level. The brown tones across the copper bar and leather straps tie together visually while contrasting against the pale alabaster.

What size kitchen island does the Cintura Small suit?

The 1000mm length and 400mm width work well over kitchen islands between 1.2m and 2m in length, allowing approximately 100-500mm of clearance at each end of the island. For longer islands of 2.4m or more, the larger Cintura in the same range is a better proportional fit.

Is the LED dimmable?

The integrated LED runs at 50W on 230V mains and produces 3000K warm white light. Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific dimmer model, so please contact us before pairing the fitting with a dimmer to confirm.

Does the alabaster vary between pieces?

Yes. The ring is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so the veining, tonal variation and translucency differ between individual pieces. This is a feature of the natural stone rather than a defect, and it becomes most apparent when the LED is lit through the section.

How are the alabaster and leather cleaned?

Wipe the alabaster gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. Avoid household sprays, polishes or chemical cleaners, as alabaster is porous and softer than marble. The leather straps can be dusted with a dry cloth and treated occasionally with a neutral leather conditioner.
