Description
The Ciel is a 400mm alabaster cylinder wall light cut from natural Spanish alabaster, finished with a brushed brass band that wraps around the centre of the body. An integrated 12W LED sits concealed inside the stone, diffusing warm 3000K light through the alabaster so the material itself becomes the diffuser. The cylinder measures 120mm wide with a 60mm projection from the wall.
Designed for hallways, bedrooms, living rooms and stairwells, the Ciel suits installation as a single fitting or repeated in a run along a corridor wall. The 60mm projection keeps the light close to the wall, making it a workable choice in narrower hallways and beside beds where deeper fittings would intrude. Hardwired to mains 230V, it requires connection to a junction box at the mounting point during installation.
Each alabaster cylinder is cut from a different section of stone, so the veining, tonal variation and translucency differ between individual pieces. Once lit, these mineral patterns become more visible, with darker grey threads running through the warm white body. The solid copper internal frame and brushed brass band give the fitting structural weight and a defined horizontal accent that contrasts with the soft, rounded ends of the cylinder.

Frequently Asked
Does the Ciel come with the bulb?
Yes. The Ciel uses an integrated 12W LED rated at 3000K warm white, sealed inside the alabaster body. There is no separate bulb to fit or replace.
Is it dimmable?
The integrated LED runs on 230V mains. Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific dimmer model — please contact us before pairing with a dimmer to confirm.
Can it be used in a bathroom?
The Ciel is not supplied with an IP rating, so it is intended for dry interior locations such as hallways, bedrooms and living rooms rather than bathroom zones where moisture protection is required.
How is the alabaster cleaned?
Alabaster is porous and softer than marble. Wipe gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. For more stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the stone and do not use household sprays, polishes or chemical cleaners.
