This light-up decoration is a little Christmas village house in white plastic, with an LED inside that lights up its windows. It stands 15.5cm tall, 10cm wide and 7.3cm deep, a neat size for a shelf or a windowsill. The front is decorated like a festive townhouse: a red front door with an arched fanlight and a flight of steps, a green wreath tied with a red bow above it, and an arched window on either side. Topiary trees with red bows stand behind black railings, a green border runs beneath the eaves, and the roof carries a lattice pattern, two chimneys and an arched attic window. A second wreath with a red bow decorates the side wall.

It is made for Christmas, and it looks at home on a mantelpiece, a sideboard, a bookcase or a hall table, where the lit windows give a corner of the room a cosy glow on December evenings.
