Description
This little solar bobble head figurine is a Christmas penguin in a red Santa hat. He is made of plastic with a glossy black body and head, a white face and tummy, two round black eyes and a small black beak. A red scarf wraps across his chest, his flippers stretch out at his sides, and his hat ends in a little bobble that matches the red domed base he stands on. A small solar panel is set into the front of that base, and in good light it keeps his head bobbing gently. He stands 10cm tall, 7.5cm wide and 6cm deep.
Being solar, he is happiest where daylight reaches him. A sunny windowsill, a desk beside a window or a bright kitchen sill will all keep him nodding through December. At 10cm tall he takes up very little room, so he fits on a narrow ledge or the corner of a busy desk. His black and red colouring sits happily alongside traditional Christmas decorations. As a small Christmas gift he makes a friendly surprise that is easy to wrap, or you can keep him for your own festive corner year after year.
His plastic body and red base are simple to look after. Dust him with a soft dry cloth, and wipe the solar panel gently now and then so the light can reach it. Keep him indoors and away from water, and stand him on a flat, level surface so the base sits steady. He is freestanding, so there is no hook or fixing to worry about. Simply set him down and let the daylight do the rest. We think he makes a cheerful welcome on the windowsill each Christmas, and a festive desk mate for anyone who likes a bit of fun.

Frequently Asked
How big is the penguin bobble head?
He stands 10cm tall, 7.5cm wide and 6cm deep. That is small enough for a narrow windowsill, a bookshelf or the corner of a desk.
How does the penguin's head move?
A small solar panel is set into the front of his red base. In good light it keeps his head bobbing gently, so a bright spot near a window suits him best.
What is the figurine made of?
He is made of plastic. He has a glossy black body and head, a white face and tummy, and a red hat, scarf and base.
Where is the best place to put him?
Choose somewhere indoors that gets plenty of daylight, such as a sunny windowsill or a desk beside a window. That way the solar panel can keep his head moving.
How do I keep the figurine clean?
Dust him with a soft dry cloth. Wipe the solar panel on the base gently now and then so dust does not block the light it needs.
Does he make a good Christmas gift?
Yes. He is a cheerful little Christmas gift that is easy to wrap, and his red hat and scarf look right at home among festive decorations.
