Description

The Chord STP-BLJ2 is a deluxe guitar strap made with strong, double-layer nylon webbing. We like it for players who want something a bit brighter, as each strap carries a colourful embroidered jacquard design in blue. The build is honest and hard-wearing, so it holds up to regular use at home, in rehearsal or on stage.

The strap uses PU leather fobs at each end and a metal slide buckle for length adjustment. It runs to a maximum length of 1.49m, which gives plenty of room whether you play seated or standing, and suits taller players who prefer the guitar to sit lower. At 60mm wide including the buckle, it spreads the weight across your shoulder rather than digging in, and the whole thing weighs just 119g.

Fitting is straightforward. The end tabs slot over the strap buttons (also called strap pins) on your guitar or bass, and the buckle lets you set the length to suit your playing position. The double-layer webbing means the strap stays put once adjusted, without the twist or stretch you sometimes get from thinner single-layer straps.
