Description

The Chord RACKBAG3U is a padded 19" rack bag built to carry and protect three units (3U) of rack-mounted equipment. Inside is a sturdy wooden frame that holds its shape and keeps your gear from flexing in transit, with metal rack strip fitted front and rear so kit mounts and stays put the same way it would in a fixed rack case.

Front and rear flaps give you access to your equipment and let air move through during use, which helps with ventilation on active gear. The flaps close over securing straps that hold everything in place, and the padded outer keeps knocks and bumps away from your equipment. Rack mounting depth is 350mm, so check your unit fits before you load it in.

We've included a carrying handle and a shoulder strap so you can move it between jobs or venues without much fuss, and there's a zipped external pocket for cables, adaptors and the odd bit of paperwork. It's a practical choice for anyone taking a small rack of gear out on the road or between rooms and wanting a lighter option than a hard flightcase.
