Description

The Chord PLB-L is a low-pitched plastic block, a modern take on the traditional wood block. We make it from a hard plastic resin rather than timber, so it stands up well to regular playing and holds its tone over time. The red finish makes it easy to spot on a busy setup.

This is the low version of the range, paired by a matching high-pitched block for players who want two distinct pitches side by side. The plastic resin gives a bright, cutting sound that carries through a mix, which suits drum kits, percussion rigs and live work where you need the note to be heard clearly.

An integral clamp and bracket are built into the block, so you can attach it to various drum hardware without extra fittings. That means it mounts straight onto a cymbal stand, a multi-clamp or a rack, and stays put once fixed. It keeps your kit tidy and puts the block within easy reach while you play.
