Description
The Chiro is a recessed LED spotlight that takes a GU10 lamp and runs from a standard 220-240V AC mains supply. Rated at a maximum of 10W, it sits flush in the ceiling and throws a tight, directional beam, making it a neat choice where you want focused light rather than broad fill. In US terms a GU10 fitting like this is the familiar recessed spotlight format, fitting the same twist-and-lock lamps sold either side of the Atlantic.
Indoors, the Chiro works well in kitchens, hallways and living spaces, either as a run of even ceiling points or as accent lighting to pick out artwork, a worktop or a feature wall. Because it is recessed, it suits ceilings with enough void above for the lamp body and works in both task and accent roles. As a single directional spotlight it covers a defined pool rather than a whole room, so plan several across a larger space to build up the light you need.
The round housing is made from aluminium alloy in a white finish, with a fitting weight of 220g. It is an IP20 fitting, so it is intended for dry indoor locations only and should not be used in bathrooms or anywhere exposed to damp. Installation is a recessed ceiling mount, dropping into a suitable cut-out, and the GU10 lamp twists into the cap. We stock the Chiro in other wattages across the range to match different brightness needs.

Frequently Asked
Can the Chiro be used in a bathroom or outdoors?
No. The Chiro carries an IP20 rating, which means it is for dry indoor use only. It should be kept out of bathrooms, showers and any outdoor or damp location.
Is the GU10 bulb included?
The Chiro is supplied as a fitting that accepts a GU10 lamp rated up to 10W. Check the product listing for the current lamp arrangement, as the holder is designed for standard twist-and-lock GU10 bulbs.
What beam does it give?
As a recessed PAR16 GU10 spotlight, the Chiro casts a focused, directional beam that lights a defined pool below the fitting. This makes it well suited to accent lighting and task areas rather than broad ambient fill.
How do I clean the Chiro?
Switch off the power and let the lamp cool, then wipe the visible white trim with a soft, dry or lightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh solvents so the aluminium alloy finish stays clean and unmarked.
