Our Cherish mug is a pink stoneware mug painted by hand, with lighter vertical stripes running from rim to base and raised lettering on both sides: MOM on one face and LOVE on the other. The letters stand proud of the surface and are picked out in the same shade as the rounded loop handle, so they stand out against the stripes. It holds 325ml, which makes it a full-sized everyday mug for tea, coffee or hot chocolate rather than a small cup, and it measures 8cm across and 9cm tall. One thing worth knowing: it reads MOM, the American spelling, rather than MUM.
