Description

The Chelsie is a 28cm pendant light built around a spherical antique brass cage filled with vertical strands of beaded glass droplets, suspended from a matching antique brass canopy. A single E14 bulb (sold separately) sits at the centre, casting light outward through the glass beads and the open metalwork, creating scattered reflections and directional patterns across surrounding surfaces.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and entrance hallways with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Chelsie pairs decorative and functional roles. The 1500mm maximum drop is adjustable during installation, allowing the pendant to be positioned 700-800mm above a dining surface or higher for ambient use in a hallway. The open brass framework and glass droplets give the fitting a decorative presence without blocking sightlines across a table.

The antique brass finish has a warm, slightly aged tone that sits between polished brass and darker bronze, pairing well with warm neutrals, oak furniture and traditional interiors. Each strand of beaded glass is hand-threaded onto the brass frame, so minor variations in bead spacing and alignment between individual fittings are normal. The combined weight of 1.3kg gives the pendant a solid feel without requiring reinforced ceiling fixings on standard UK plasterboard.
