Description

Ninety-five centimetres tall and 53cm across, on the same tripod of splayed wire feet as the small Charida and close to twice its height. The twisted trunk carries four tiers of branches, and the twigs at the end of each are fine enough to see through. At 1.1kg it still lifts by the trunk.

At 95cm this stands on the floor beside a chair, or on a wide sideboard, rather than on a side table. The extra height opens the gaps between the tiers, so a bauble hung on a lower branch is clear of the one above it. What goes on the tree is chosen separately.

The wire is iron under a brass finish. The branches are bent and twisted by hand and hold whatever shape they are given. A 53cm Charida and a 154cm Charida on a solid square base run alongside it. Baubles and lights are not included.
