The Chamonix is a 240mm rectangular outdoor LED wall or ceiling light with a layered construction: an outer white powder-coated aluminium frame holds a clear acrylic panel, behind which sits an opal diffuser panel housing the integrated 9W LED. This creates a three-dimensional depth where light passes through two layers before projecting outward, softening the beam and reducing direct glare from the LED.

Designed for wall mounting beside doorways, on porch ceilings, under eaves, or along covered walkways, the Chamonix delivers 725 lumens at 3000K with a 132-degree beam angle. The IP65 rating protects against dust ingress and water jets from any direction, allowing the light to be fitted in exposed positions where rain reaches the fitting directly. The 100mm projection keeps the fitting clear of the wall surface, allowing air circulation behind the clear panel to reduce condensation buildup in humid conditions.

The white powder-coated finish suits both modern and traditional exterior colour schemes, pairing with white-painted render, timber cladding and grey masonry. The rectangular form provides broader horizontal coverage than a square fitting of similar wattage, making it effective for lighting wider doorways or broader sections of wall. The integrated LED is non-dimmable and rated for 100-240V universal voltage, which simplifies installation on UK 230V mains without requiring a transformer.

Mounting hardware is included. The fitting weighs 1.22kg and should be fixed to a solid wall surface or timber stud rather than plasterboard alone. The clear acrylic outer panel can be wiped with a damp microfibre cloth; avoid abrasive cleaners that scratch the surface.
