The Cesmine is a white and chrome pendant light built from layered steel shades: a small upper disc, a wide brim and a deep bowl at the bottom, held apart by bright chrome spacers. It measures 130cm tall overall and 43cm in diameter, a generous width that sits comfortably over a dining table or kitchen island. It takes an E27 bulb up to 60W, which you choose yourself, as the bulb is not included. Rated IP20, it is made for indoors and dry rooms, which settles where it can hang.

We like it best over a kitchen island or a dining table, where the height you set by hand earns its keep. Lower the shade closer to the table for a relaxed supper, then raise it again when you want the space clear for cooking or homework.
