Description
Cerchio is a single disc of natural Spanish alabaster held flat against the wall on one small brass boss at its centre. There is no frame, no backplate on show and no visible fixing beyond that one point, so the stone reads as a plain circle set into the wall. The disc is 350mm across and stands 90mm proud, the same shallow projection as the rest of the range, so even at this diameter it clears a corridor or a doorway without catching as you pass.
An integrated LED behind the disc draws 12W and lights the stone from the back, so the glow starts at the centre and falls away towards the rim rather than filling the whole face evenly. This is the largest disc in the range and the one that carries the most veining, because a wider face shows more of the block it was cut from. At 350mm a single fitting will light a hallway on its own, and a pair will do the work of a table lamp either side of a bed.
The boss and the concealed fixing are brass, and the disc is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so the veining, the translucency and the way the light pools behind it differ from piece to piece. No two are alike. Rated IP20 for interior use. Cerchio runs down through 300mm, 250mm and 200mm discs, and because the projection never changes, different sizes can be mixed along one wall without the line of them stepping in and out.

Frequently Asked
How is it fixed to the wall?
Through a single brass boss at the centre of the disc, onto a concealed fixing behind the stone. There is no visible backplate, which is what lets it read as a plain circle on the wall.
Can I mix sizes along one wall?
Yes. Every Cerchio stands 90mm proud whatever its diameter, so a run of 200mm, 250mm, 300mm and 350mm discs sits on one plane rather than stepping in and out.
Which size shows the most veining?
This one. A 350mm face shows more of the block it was cut from than the smaller discs, so the marbling is broader and more pronounced, particularly when the fitting is lit.
Is it bright enough to light a hallway?
At 12W across a 350mm disc a single fitting will light a hallway on its own, and a pair will do the work of a table lamp either side of a bed.
Can it be used in a bathroom?
No. It is rated IP20, which covers dry interior locations only, so it should not be installed in a bathroom zone or anywhere it may meet moisture.
