Description

This is a braided two core flex, ordered by the metre and supplied as a single continuous run whatever quantity you ask for. The conductors are 0.75mm and the woven outer sleeve mixes black with white, giving a fine speckled look that reads dark from a distance. It is VDE approved. Braided flex like this began as a period detail, and now it is as much about keeping a visible drop looking deliberate.

We reach for it when a spot cluster or a small pendant needs new flex and plain white sleeving would look too plain. Fabric braid earns its keep in open kitchens, studios and workshops where the cable is on show for its whole run, and it is a favourite with anyone building a light of their own or shortening a shop bought one.
