Description

Braided cable in a soft jute brown, close to the colour of natural twine with a warm depth to it. The woven outer sleeve sits over a two core 0.75mm flex, and the finished cable measures around 6mm across, slim enough to look deliberate on a hanging pendant rather than merely functional. It is VDE approved, and we supply it as a single continuous run rather than cut lengths, so a long drop has no joins along it.

We reach for it where a plain white flex would jar: a bare lamp holder over a kitchen island, a rewired reading lamp, a row of pendants down a hallway. The brown reads as neutral against timber, brick and clay plaster, and it is kind to older rooms where a stark cable pulls the eye for the wrong reasons. It suits anyone putting together their own pendant from a holder, a ceiling rose and a flex, and works just as well as a fresh lead on a table lamp that has earned it.

The braid is tightly woven, so it holds its shape when coiled and resists fraying where it is handled most.
