Description

The Cavaro is a 160mm tall rectangular wall light cut from a solid block of travertine in a light beige tone, with an integrated COB LED set into the lower opening. The block measures 80mm wide and projects from the wall as a single carved volume, with the natural pores, mineral flecks and tonal banding of the stone left visible across all four faces. Light exits only from the underside, casting a warm downward wash onto the wall below.

Designed as accent and ambient lighting rather than task light, the Cavaro suits hallways, stairwell walls, bedrooms either side of a bed, and living-room walls where a soft grazing wash is wanted instead of a bright downlight. The compact 80mm width keeps it close to the wall surface, so it works well in narrow corridors and beside doorways without intruding on circulation space. The integrated COB LED removes the need to source a separate bulb and gives an even, point-source-free wash across the stone.

Travertine is a sedimentary limestone, and each block cut for the Cavaro carries its own pattern of pits, voids and tonal variation, so no two fittings look identical.
