Description
The Cavaro is a 120mm cube wall light cut from natural light beige travertine, with an integrated COB LED housed inside the open underside. The cube measures 120mm on every face, giving a compact, geometric block that sits flush against the wall. The travertine retains its natural pitted surface, so each face shows the open pores and mineral inclusions characteristic of unfilled travertine.
Designed as an accent and ambient fitting rather than a primary light source, the Cavaro suits living rooms, hallways, bedrooms, and reading corners where a compact downwash is needed alongside other lighting. The COB LED projects light from the open base of the cube, throwing a defined pool of warm light down the wall and onto the surface below. Mounted in pairs or runs of three, the cubes create rhythm along a corridor or feature wall without dominating the surface.
Travertine is a natural sedimentary stone, so each Cavaro shows different pore patterns, veining, and tonal shifts across the four visible faces. The light beige tone reads as warm off-white in daylight and deepens slightly under the LED's warm output. The integrated COB module removes the need for a separate bulb and keeps the cube form uninterrupted by a visible lamp holder or shade fitting.

Frequently Asked
Does it need a separate bulb?
No. The Cavaro uses an integrated COB LED module built into the cube, so there is no separate bulb to fit or replace. The LED is fixed within the fitting and runs on standard 230V mains.
Does the travertine vary between pieces?
Yes. Travertine is a natural stone with open pores, mineral inclusions, and tonal variation that differs from block to block. Each Cavaro will show its own pattern of pitting and veining across the four visible faces, which is a feature of unfilled travertine rather than a defect.
Which direction does the light cast?
The COB LED is housed in the open underside of the cube, so light is cast downward onto the wall below the fitting. The four solid stone faces are not translucent, meaning the cube itself stays unlit while the light pool sits beneath it.
How is travertine cleaned?
Wipe with a dry, soft microfibre cloth to remove dust. Travertine is porous, so avoid soaking the surface or using household sprays, polishes, or acidic cleaners. For more stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable.
