Description

The Carrara is a 300mm circular wall light cut from a single disc of veined marble, with a brushed brass central boss concealing the integrated LED. The white stone is threaded with strong black and grey veining that runs organically across the face, so the pattern on every disc is unique. The 3000K LED sits behind the brass cover and casts warm light outwards across the marble, lifting the veining and producing a soft halo against the wall.

Designed as a wall-mounted ambient fitting rather than task lighting, the Carrara suits living rooms, bedrooms, dining walls and hallway runs where a low-glare warm wash is wanted at eye level. The compact 300mm diameter means it can be used singly above a console or sideboard, in matched pairs flanking a bed or fireplace, or as a repeating sequence along a corridor wall. It runs on standard 230V mains and wires into a typical UK wall back box.

The marble itself is the defining material: a natural stone with cool white ground and dramatic dark veining that reads almost like ink on paper when lit from behind. The brushed brass centre is turned with concentric rings, catching light differently as you move past it and giving a warm metallic counterpoint to the cool stone. Together the brass, marble and warm LED keep the fitting decorative when off and sculptural when lit.

Yes. Each disc is cut from natural veined marble, so the distribution of black and grey veining across the white ground differs on every fitting. This is a feature of the natural stone rather than a defect, and it means no two Carrara wall lights look identical when lit.

Is the LED replaceable?

The LED is integrated into the fitting behind the brushed brass central boss and is not designed for end-user replacement. The 2-year warranty covers the LED module against failure during normal domestic use.

How is it mounted to the wall?

The Carrara is a hard-wired 230V mains fitting that connects to a standard UK wall back box. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician. Because the disc is cut from natural marble, the fitting has noticeable weight and the wall fixings must be appropriate for the substrate.

Can it be used in a bathroom?
