Description

A plain round base sits flat on the surface, with a slender upright carrying a switched lampholder at the top. It takes one E27 lamp, and the pull switch means you can work the light at the fitting itself rather than hunting for a cord along the floor. The base measures 18cm across, so it holds its footing without crowding a bedside cabinet or a narrow shelf. It comes without a shade, which leaves the proportions and the mood entirely up to you.

This is the sort of piece we suggest when someone already has a shade in mind, or an old one worth keeping, and wants a tidy chrome base to carry it. It works beside a bed, on a hall table, at the end of a sideboard or on a desk where a taller lamp would sit awkwardly.
