Description

The Canto is a 265mm-tall wall light built around a single E27 bulb fitting enclosed within a polished nickel frame and two vertical clear acrylic panels. The acrylic sits on the outer edges of the rectangular frame, allowing light from the central bulb to escape forward while the acrylic softens and diffuses light sideways along the wall. The polished nickel finish on the top, bottom and mounting plate provides a reflective metallic accent against the transparent material.

Designed for hallways, bedrooms, living room feature walls and flanking positions either side of artwork or mirrors, the Canto provides ambient and directional wash light depending on the bulb chosen. The 90mm projection keeps the fitting close to the wall, making it suitable for narrower corridors or alcoves where a deeper-projecting fitting would intrude. The E27 socket accepts standard LED, halogen or filament bulbs up to 60W (bulbs sold separately), giving control over light temperature and brightness.

The polished nickel finish shows a bright metallic sheen under daylight and reflects light back when the fitting is on, adding presence to the wall surface. The clear acrylic panels are 150mm wide in total, giving a vertical emphasis to the fitting when mounted. At 0.68kg the Canto fixes to standard plasterboard walls with suitable wall plugs and fixings, or directly to solid walls. The fitting is dimmable when paired with dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch.
