Description

We stock the Cambio as a soft, spherical pendant with a fabric shade built from layered panels, so its surface ripples and diffuses the light instead of letting a bare bulb glare. The shade hangs from a black aluminium canopy on a black cable, which keeps the fitting quiet and neutral while the shade does the work. It takes a single bulb up to 60W (sold separately) and runs on standard 220 to 240V mains.

This is a pendant for spaces that want a warm, ambient wash rather than a sharp beam, so it suits a dining table, a kitchen island or a bedroom. The layered fabric spreads the light gently and casts subtle shadow patterns onto the surfaces around it, and the black cable and canopy give a contemporary contrast to the soft neutral shade. Hang one over a table or run several across a longer island for even coverage.

The Cambio carries an IP20 rating, so it is made for dry indoor rooms only and should not go anywhere exposed to moisture. It is not dimmable, so it stays at the brightness of the bulb you fit rather than dimming on a wall dimmer. The cable can be shortened at installation to set your drop height, and because the bulb is sold separately you can choose the colour temperature and output that suit the room.

Frequently Asked

Is a bulb included?

No. The Cambio takes a single screw-cap bulb up to 60W, which is sold separately, so you can pick the colour temperature and brightness you prefer for the room.

Is it dimmable?

No. This fitting is not dimmable, so it runs at the brightness of the bulb you fit. If you want to dim it, you would need a compatible dimmable bulb rather than relying on the pendant itself.

Can I use it in a bathroom?

No. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. It is best kept to dining rooms, kitchens and bedrooms.

How does the fabric shade affect the light?

The shade is made from layered fabric panels that give it a rippled surface. This diffuses the light softly through the fabric and casts gentle shadow patterns onto nearby surfaces, so you get an ambient glow rather than a harsh, direct beam.
