Calla 3 Light Bar Pendant - Matt Black

The Calla is a 3-light bar pendant built around a 520mm pressed steel bar in matt black, from which three black fabric-covered cable drops suspend bare E27 bulb holders. Each drop hangs independently on its own adjustable cable, allowing the three bulbs to be set at different heights or aligned at the same level depending on the installation requirement. The bare bulb holders are designed to display filament-style lamps, with the bulb itself forming part of the visual composition.

Designed for linear overhead positions such as kitchen islands, dining tables, and hallway runs, the Calla provides task and ambient lighting across a defined length rather than a single point. The 1940mm maximum drop (1.8m adjustable cable per pendant plus the bar height) suits rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. Each of the three E27 fittings accepts bulbs up to 40W, giving flexibility to choose LED filament, halogen, or traditional incandescent sources depending on the desired light temperature and output.

The matt black finish on the pressed steel bar and fabric cable drops absorbs rather than reflects light, creating a visual anchor that pairs with industrial, modern and minimal interiors. The matt surface also reduces glare under directional ceiling spots. The three-drop configuration works over tables approximately 1200-1800mm in length, with the bulbs positioned to distribute light evenly across the surface below. The bar mounts to a standard UK ceiling rose, with the three cable drops emerging from fixed points along the bar's length.

Class I construction requires an earth connection during installation. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor environments. What bulbs does it take and are they included?

The Calla takes three E27 (Edison screw) bulbs up to 40W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with LED filament bulbs in warm white (2700K-3000K) to match the industrial aesthetic. The bare bulb holders display the bulb shape, so decorative filament styles are recommended.
