Description

The Caldera Large is a 580mm vertical alabaster wall light built around two stacked columns of natural Spanish alabaster, framed by a slim brushed brass backplate and split horizontally by a central brass band. An integrated 12W LED runs at 3000K behind the alabaster, lighting the stone from within so that the columns themselves become the diffuser rather than a hidden bulb behind a shade.

At 580mm tall, 120mm wide and with a 100mm projection from the wall, the Caldera suits hallways, stairwells, bedside positions and either side of a vanity mirror or fireplace. Light spills both upwards and downwards from the twin columns, giving a gentle wall wash above and below the fitting rather than a single directional beam. The slender 120mm width keeps the fitting close to the wall in narrower corridors where wider sconces would feel intrusive.

The frame is solid copper finished in brushed brass, with the central split-core band acting as both a structural junction between the two alabaster sections and a visual break that highlights the tonal variation in the stone above and below. Each Caldera shows different mineral veining depending on the section of alabaster it was cut from, so no two units light identically. The 230V mains supply runs to the integrated driver concealed within the backplate, and the 2 year warranty covers the LED module and frame.
