Description

The Caldera Small is a 230mm circular wall light cut from a solid disc of light beige travertine, with an opal glass diffuser set into the centre. The G9 lamp sits behind the glass, projecting 140mm from the wall, casting warm light through the diffuser while the porous stone face catches a softer halo of reflected glow around it.

Suited to bedside positions, hallways, reading corners and lounge walls, the compact 230mm diameter keeps the fitting in scale with narrower walls and tighter spaces where a larger disc would dominate. Mounted individually it acts as a sculptural accent; installed in pairs flanking a bed or repeated along a corridor it sets up a regular visual rhythm. The G9 lamp socket accepts standard G9 capsules (sold separately) up to the rated wattage shown in the Specification tab.

Travertine is a natural sedimentary stone, and each disc shows its own pattern of pores, mineral veins and tonal shifts ranging from pale cream to warmer beige. The faceted segmenting visible across the disc face catches light differently along each plane, giving the surface depth that flat-finished plaster or ceramic shades cannot replicate. No two Caldera wall lights look identical.

What bulb does the Caldera take?

The wall light uses a single G9 lamp, sold separately. Most users pair it with a warm-white G9 LED capsule between 2700K and 3000K to match the natural warmth of the travertine.

Will each disc look the same?

No. Travertine is a natural stone, so the pore pattern, veining and tonal variation differ between individual pieces. Buying a pair means receiving two discs that are visibly related but not identical.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

The Caldera does not carry a published IP rating in the specification, so it should be treated as an indoor fitting for dry locations only. It is not suitable for bathroom zones or external use.

How is the travertine cleaned?

Travertine is porous. Dust gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. Avoid household sprays, acidic cleaners and wet cloths, as moisture and chemicals can stain or etch the stone surface.
