Description

The Calbrin is a twin glass globe wall light: two white glass globes, one above and one below a slim vertical rod, held off the wall by a side arm that runs back to a round wall plate. It is made of brass and glass, and it comes in four finishes: Antique Brass, Antique Silver, Polished Brass and Satin Brass. It stands 50cm tall and 14cm wide, and reaches 27.5cm out from the wall. Each globe holds one G9 bulb, and the bulbs are sold separately: you need two G9 bulbs, up to 6.5W per bulb (LED).

With one globe above and one below, the Calbrin lights the wall both upwards and downwards, which suits a living room, where a pair can sit either side of a fireplace or a mirror, and a dining room, framing a sideboard or lighting a long wall. In a bedroom a pair works well either side of the bed. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms indoors only. The finishes change its character: Antique Brass and Antique Silver have a soft, aged look that suits older houses, Polished Brass is bright and gleaming, and Satin Brass is a quieter, brushed gold that sits easily in a modern room.

Every Calbrin is made to order for you in Ireland, from brass with glass globes, in the finish you choose. The maker guarantees the fittings it makes for five years from the date of purchase; bulbs are not covered. It is a mains fitting, to be wired in by a qualified electrician.
