Description

This is a conduit adaptor for our bulkhead lights, in a raw brass finish. It is a simple part in three clear sections: a plain round collar on top, threaded on the inside, a hex nut beneath it, and a male thread running round the base. The collar is smooth and unpolished, with the warm, slightly uneven tone of raw brass rather than a bright shine.

It is for use with these bulkheads of ours: the Grand Cabin, Small Cabin, Grand Capstan, Horatio, Horatio Junior, Merchant, Mini Compass Guard, Palaemon, Palaemon North, Small Siren, Trident and Trident Shield. As its name says, it is the piece that joins a run of conduit to one of these bulkhead lights, so it is the part to add where the light's supply will arrive in conduit. Choosing it in raw brass keeps the join in the same honest metal as a brass light on a wall.

Brass left raw darkens and mellows outdoors, so expect the golden tone of this adaptor to deepen and soften over the seasons. A mains light is installed by a qualified electrician, and the adaptor belongs to that same job. Ordering it together with your bulkhead means both are on hand on the day of fitting.
