BTLW 18W Track Light Cool White - White

The BTLW is an 18W LED track light that fixes onto a lighting track rather than a fixed ceiling point, letting the head be positioned and angled along the rail. It draws 220-240V AC mains and produces 1450 lumens at 4000K, a clean cool white that sits between warm and daylight tones and reads well for general and detail viewing. The wide 120 degree beam spreads light broadly instead of tightly spotting, so it washes a zone rather than punching a single accent. North American buyers will recognise this format as track lighting, a popular flexible system for layering light across a space.

The wide spread and cool white output suit retail floors, galleries, studios, kitchens and open-plan living areas where the lighting layout needs to flex over time. Mounted on track, several heads can be spaced along a run and aimed at shelving, artwork or work surfaces, then repositioned if the layout changes. Because the beam is broad rather than focused, coverage is best thought of as a soft wash over a seating, display or counter zone rather than a single sharp pool. It works on standard ceiling-mounted track and benefits from a typical room ceiling height so the spread can open out before reaching the surface below.

The body is aluminium alloy in a white finish, with the metal shell helping to draw heat away from the LED for the rated 50,000 hour lifespan. It is rated IP20, so keep it to dry indoor rooms and clear of bathrooms, damp areas and any outdoor position. This version is not dimmable, and it mounts directly to compatible track. How does track lighting work?

What track does it fit?

It mounts onto compatible lighting track and connects through the track conductors. Check whether your existing system is single-circuit or three-phase before ordering, as the head must match the track type for a correct fit.

Can I add or move heads later?

Yes. One of the main advantages of a track system is that heads can be repositioned along the rail or added to the run at any time. This makes it easy to re-aim light at new displays, shelving or seating as a room evolves.

How do I clean the fitting?

Switch off the supply and let the head cool, then wipe the white aluminium body with a soft dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid solvents and abrasive cleaners, which can mark the finish.
