Description
The BTL is a three-phase track light head running on 220-240V mains, drawing 28W and putting out 2800 lumens at 4000K cool white. Track lighting like this clips onto a powered rail and lets each head be aimed independently, so the beam can be pointed exactly where it is needed. The adjustable beam spans 15 to 45 degrees, giving a tight spot for picking out a single object or a wider wash across a surface. With a colour rendering of Ra 90, colours and finishes read accurately under the light.
The cool white tone and accurate rendering suit retail displays, galleries, showrooms and reception areas where stock, artwork or architectural detail needs to stand out. Because the head aims and the beam tightens or widens, coverage is directional rather than ambient: the narrow 15-degree setting throws a focused pool onto a feature, while the wider 45-degree setting grazes a longer run of wall or a shelf bay. The head mounts to a three-phase track, so several can be spaced along one rail and re-aimed or repositioned as a display layout changes. It is an indoor fitting, rated IP20, so keep it to dry interior spaces.
Built from aluminium alloy in a white finish, the body weighs 804g and is rated for 50,000 hours of use. It is track mounted, sliding into and locking onto a compatible three-phase rail, and heads can be added or moved along the run without rewiring each fitting. This version is not dimmable, so brightness is fixed at the 2800-lumen output. Other heads, wattages and the matching track sit within the BTL range for building up a full lighting layout.

Frequently Asked
What is track lighting and how does it work?
Track lighting is a powered rail onto which individual light heads clip and draw current. Each head can be aimed separately, so you can direct light at different displays or features from one continuous track. It is a flexible way to light retail, gallery and showroom spaces.
What track does this head fit?
The BTL head mounts to a three-phase track and locks into place along the rail. Several heads can be spaced along a single run and powered from one supply, which keeps wiring tidy for larger layouts.
Can heads be added or moved later as the layout changes?
Yes. Heads slide along the three-phase track and lock at any point, so you can add, reposition or re-aim them without rewiring. This makes it straightforward to adjust the lighting when a display or layout changes.
What beam angle does it give?
The beam is adjustable from 15 to 45 degrees. The narrow setting throws a tight, focused pool onto a single feature, while the wider setting spreads the light across a larger surface such as a shelf bay or run of wall.
