Description

The Bronane is a two light spotlight bar in black: a slim steel bar carrying two cylindrical spotlights on chrome swivel joints. It is 30cm long, 4.5cm wide and 8.5cm high, so it sits neatly on the ceiling without crowding a room. Each head takes a GU10 bulb of up to 5W, and the bulbs are not included, which leaves you free to choose the GU10 bulbs that suit you. With an IP20 rating it is made for indoor, dry rooms, so we suggest it for living spaces and never for bathrooms or anywhere outdoors.

Because both heads turn on their joints, you can aim one light at a bookcase and the other at a desk or a favourite picture. That makes this spotlight bar a practical choice for a study, a home office, a kitchen, a hallway or a living room. It suits anyone who wants light placed where it is needed rather than one general glow from the middle of the ceiling. Two spotlights on a single slim bar also keep the ceiling looking tidy, and the black finish sits well against pale plaster, concrete or painted walls alike.

The body is steel in a black finish, set off by the chrome of the swivel joints, and steel is strong and rigid, so the bar holds its shape. There is no switch on the light itself: it is switched at the wall, so you turn it on and off with a wall switch. It runs on 220-240V, 50/60Hz mains and weighs 0.39KG packed. As a wired-in mains light, it is installed by a qualified electrician, and the installation instructions come as a download. Fit two matching GU10 bulbs and both heads will give the same colour and brightness of light.
