Description

The Briscola is a slim LED outdoor wall light in white steel, made from two flat upright panels with a narrow slot running between them. Light from the integrated LED escapes through that slot and washes the wall upward and downward, so the fitting reads as a crisp white shape by day and a soft band of light after dark. It stands 25cm high, 12cm wide and 6cm deep, and gives 1,020 lumens. The IP44 rating settles the main question: it is protected from splashing water, so it can live outdoors on a house wall or a garden wall.

Because it sits only 6cm proud of the wall, it suits tight spots where a deeper lantern would get in the way: beside a front door, along a side passage, next to a garage door or on a garden wall around a patio. The split wash of light frames a doorway from above and below and gives a soft guide light at night. The white body looks sharp against render, painted brick or dark cladding, and gives a modern house front a clean, architectural line. The same compact profile works indoors too, in a hallway or on a stairwell wall.

Three colour temperatures are chosen at the light itself: 2700K for a warm, homely glow, 4000K for a neutral white and 6000K for a cool, crisp white, so you can match the porch to the house or the mood. The LED is integrated, so there is no bulb to buy, and the energy class is E. There is no switch on the light; it is switched at the wall and runs on 220-240V, 50/60Hz. At 0.58KG it is easy to handle during fitting. Because it is wired into the mains, it is installed by a qualified electrician, and the installation instructions come as a download.
