Description

Brio Clear S IP44 is a round illuminated bathroom mirror, 82cm across and 4cm deep, with an indirect LED built into the back so the glow washes the wall behind it rather than shining out into the room. The LED is waterproof and the mirror carries an IP44 rating, which is what makes it fit for a bathroom rather than merely tolerant of one. The glass is plain mirrored glass with no printing or tint, so the reflection is true, and the light reads as a halo around the rim rather than as a visible fitting.

It is the right piece above a basin, or on any bathroom wall where light is wanted without a separate fitting taking up space. It weighs 10KG and hangs on two hooks with wall plugs, both supplied, and nothing needs assembling before it goes up. Because the light is integrated there is no lamp to buy and none to replace, which matters most in a room where changing a bulb over a basin is awkward. At 4cm deep it stands a little further off the wall than an unlit mirror, which is what gives the indirect light somewhere to go.
