Description

Brio Bronze M is a frameless oval wall mirror, 106cm high by 90cm wide, in bronze tinted glass with an indirect LED behind it. The light is thrown onto the wall around the glass rather than out of the face, so the mirror sits in a halo and the reflection itself is never lit. Unlit it is a plain bronze oval; lit, the wall behind it glows and the outline lifts off the plaster.

That suits a hallway, a living room or a bedroom where a mirror is wanted to do something after dark as well as by day. It is not rated for bathroom use, so keep it to dry rooms. The LED runs at 3000K, which is a warm white closer to a lamp than to a task light, and it takes a cord to a socket rather than being wired in. It hangs in two directions, on two hooks with wall plugs. At 10kg and 4cm deep it is a one person lift, and that 4cm is the standoff the light needs to work. A taller 160cm size is made, and a round 82cm one.

The mirror is bronze tinted mirrored glass with an integrated LED and a cord, and there is no frame at all. Clean it with cleaner sprayed onto a soft cloth rather than onto the glass, and keep liquid away from the lit edge. The cord runs from the lower edge, so a socket below and slightly to one side keeps it out of sight. Seven year warranty on the mirror and two years on the LED, made in Belgium.
