Description

The Brillix is a 99 x 73cm rectangle wall mirror framed by bevelled glass sections and a silver-finished wood outer frame. The bevelled glass border runs around all four edges of the central mirror pane, creating a layered depth effect where light catches the angled facets. The wood frame provides structural support and a metallic silver finish that contrasts with the reflective surfaces.

Designed for vertical wall mounting in hallways, bedrooms, dressing rooms and over consoles, the Brillix functions as a full-length mirror when hung with its base approximately 20-30cm from the floor. The 99cm height allows most users to see from head to mid-calf when standing 1-2m back from the mirror. The 2.5cm depth keeps the profile slim against the wall, and at 11-21kg the mirror requires two secure wall fixings into studs or solid wall.

The bevelled glass sections are arranged in rectangular strips around the central mirror, each strip angled to create light reflection that changes as you move past the mirror. The silver wood frame provides a defined outer edge and pairs with both cool-toned contemporary interiors and warmer neutrals. The frame sits flush with the bevelled glass, so the entire face of the mirror sits on a single plane rather than having stepped layers.

The Brillix is designed for vertical mounting and functions as a full-length mirror in that orientation. Horizontal mounting is physically possible but the proportions are less suited to landscape use.

What wall fixings are needed?

The mirror weighs between 11-21kg, so it requires two heavy-duty mirror fixings anchored into wall studs or solid masonry. Plasterboard-only fixings are not suitable. Hanging hardware is typically supplied with the mirror.

How is the bevelled glass arranged?

Rectangular bevelled glass strips run around all four edges of the central mirror pane, creating a border effect. Each strip is angled to catch and reflect light from different angles as you move past the mirror.

Does the silver finish tarnish?

The silver finish is applied to the wood frame rather than being solid metal, so it does not tarnish like silver leaf. The finish can be wiped clean with a soft dry cloth. Avoid harsh cleaners or abrasive materials that could damage the coating.
