Description
The Bravora is a compact rectangular wall light built from a solid block of light beige travertine mounted on a walnut brown wooden backplate. The travertine block measures 160mm high by 65mm wide, with a single E27 lamp socket housed in the lower aperture and a clear glass diffuser flush with the base of the stone. Light is directed downward from the opening, washing the wall below the fitting.
Designed for hallways, bedside positions, reading corners and lounge areas, the small scale suits walls where a larger sconce would feel overscaled. Mounted individually, the Bravora reads as a small architectural detail; installed in pairs either side of a bed, mirror or doorway, it provides balanced symmetry. The downward throw makes it useful as a low-level evening light rather than a primary room source, working alongside ceiling fittings or table lamps in layered schemes.
Each travertine block carries its own pattern of pores, horizontal banding and tonal shifts because the stone is cut from natural quarried travertine, so no two fittings look identical when lit. The walnut backplate adds a darker, warmer counterpoint to the pale stone, with the visible wood grain running vertically behind the block. The combination of porous limestone and timber gives the fitting a tactile, material-led character rather than a metallic finish.

Frequently Asked
What bulb does the Bravora take?
The fitting uses a single E27 (Edison screw) bulb, which is sold separately. A small or golf-ball shaped LED bulb between 4-6W and 2700K-3000K suits the warm tone of the travertine and walnut.
Is it an up-and-down light or downward only?
The lamp socket sits in the lower aperture of the travertine block with a glass diffuser at the base, directing light downward as a wall wash. It is not configured as an up-and-down fitting.
Does the travertine vary between fittings?
Yes. The block is cut from natural travertine, so the pore pattern, horizontal veining and beige tone vary between individual pieces. This is a feature of the natural stone and not a defect.
Is it suitable for bathrooms or outdoor use?
No. The Bravora is an indoor fitting and is not supplied with an IP rating for damp or exposed locations. It suits hallways, bedrooms, lounges and similar dry interior spaces.
