Description

The Branessa is a long, slim LED pendant made of two light bars, set in a staggered line with one bar offset against the other, hung on twin cables from a rectangular ceiling canopy. The body is aluminium in a black finish, with a white plastic diffuser running along the underside of each bar. It is 105.5cm long and 10cm wide, with an overall height of 120cm. The LEDs are integrated, two at 17W each, and each light gives 2,100lm, so there is never a bulb to buy or change. It is rated IP20, which settles where it belongs: indoors, in dry rooms only.

This black pendant light is at its best above a dining table, a kitchen island or a long desk, where its slim line follows the length of the surface. Because the colour temperature runs from a warm 2700K to a cool 6500K, and the light is dimmable, the same fitting gives a bright, clear white for cooking, homework or reading and a lower, warmer glow for an evening meal. The colour-changing RGB setting adds coloured light for a party or a film night, then returns to white whenever you choose. It suits anyone who wants one ceiling light to do several jobs in an open-plan living and dining room.

The pendant is controlled by app, where you set the brightness, the colour temperature and the colour. It also works with a remote control, sold separately. There is no switch on the light itself, so it is switched at the wall. It runs from a 220 to 240V mains supply, carries energy class E and weighs 2.066KG packed. As a wired-in mains light, it should be installed by a qualified electrician, and the installation instructions come as a download.
