Description

The Bonvenne is an outdoor wall light with a built-in motion sensor. It is made from black zinc-plated steel, with a curved front and a white satin glass diffuser. Two slim horizontal slots frame the main glass panel at top and bottom, giving the face a neat banded look. It measures 20cm high and 14cm in length, and stands 11cm out from the wall, a compact size that sits neatly beside a door. It takes one E27 bulb of up to 40W, and the bulb is not included. With an IP44 rating it is protected from splashing water, so it can live outdoors on a house wall.

The motion sensor sits in the lower front of the body, so the light switches on when someone walks into its view and nobody is left fumbling for keys in the dark. We think that makes it a natural choice for a front door, a back door, a side passage, a garage wall or the wall beside a patio. The black finish suits modern brick, render and concrete alike, and the clean outline sits comfortably on a new build or an older house. For anyone who comes home after dark, or wants the path lit for visitors, it does the switching automatically.

The body is zinc-plated steel, and zinc plating helps protect steel against rust. Satin glass softens light and keeps the bulb itself out of sight, so the front gives an even white glow.
