Description

The Bolbanne is a slim LED floor lamp in white, with a plastic body, a flexible gooseneck and a narrow bar-shaped head that carries the light. It stands 130cm tall, measures 53.5cm long and 21.5cm wide, and sits on a round base 21cm in diameter, so it needs very little floor space beside a chair or sofa. The light source is an integrated 4.2W LED giving 600lm at 4000K, a crisp neutral white that suits reading and close work. It is rated IP20, which settles where it belongs: indoors and dry, in a living room, bedroom, study or office, never a bathroom or anywhere outdoors.

We see it at its best in a reading corner, next to an armchair or at the end of a sofa, where a lamp needs to reach a page without crowding the room. The gooseneck lets you bend and angle the head, so the light falls on a book, some knitting or a laptop keyboard instead of into your eyes. It suits anyone who reads in the evening, works from home or simply wants a task light that tucks neatly beside furniture, and the slim white profile keeps the look light and unfussy in a small flat or a busy family room alike.

The body is plastic in a plain white finish that sits quietly against most walls and furnishings. A touch dimmer at the tip of the head gives four brightness steps, so you can lower it to a gentle glow for the evening or raise it to full strength for reading. The LED is integrated, so there is no bulb to buy or change, and the energy class is E. Packed, it weighs 3.359KG. A soft dry cloth is all the white finish needs, and keeping it away from damp keeps it at its best. The installation instructions come as a download, so keep them somewhere handy.
