Boeing Bollard Light 100cm - Coffee

The Boeing is a tall outdoor bollard built around a slim die-cast aluminium post, standing 1000mm tall at 130mm across. The diffuser sits at the top, a smoked clear polycarbonate outer with a satin opal acrylic inner that turns the light downward, so it lays a soft ring of light onto the ground close around it rather than throwing it out or up. Lit, it casts a warm pool of light down from close to waist height to line a path, a drive or an entrance; unlit, the coffee-brown post reads as a warm, quiet marker in a border.

The LED is built in and gives 1700 lumens at a warm 3000K, aimed down through the opal diffuser so the source stays out of the eye and glare is kept low as you walk past. At this full height it works along a driveway, an entrance path or a wider garden route, throwing its pool down from above border planting and laying overlapping pools when several are run in a line. It is not a general area light; it is made to light the ground and line a route.

The body is powder-coated die-cast aluminium in a coffee-brown finish with a smoked polycarbonate and opal acrylic diffuser, rated IP65 against dust and driven rain, with the LED fixed and rated to 50,000 hours. It runs off the 220 to 240 volt mains with the driver built in, so we supply it ready to site and wire with no bulb to fit and nothing extra to add.

What kind of light does the Boeing give?

A warm downward pool. The opal diffuser turns the light down onto the ground around the post, so it lines a path edge or border rather than lighting a whole area. The built-in LED gives 1700 lumens at a warm 3000K with the source kept out of the eye.

Is there a bulb to fit?

No. The LED is built into the die-cast body with the driver integrated, rated to 50,000 hours, and it runs straight off the 220-240V mains. It arrives ready to site and wire with nothing to fit or replace.

Can it be used outdoors?

Yes. It is rated IP65 against dust and driven rain and built from powder-coated die-cast aluminium, so it is made to stand out in a garden, along a path or on a driveway through the seasons.

How big is it and where does it suit?

It is the tallest in the Boeing range at 1000mm tall and 130mm across. That height suits a driveway, an entrance path or a wider route, casting from above taller planting, with 700mm, 400mm and 150mm versions below it for lower light, all in the same coffee finish.
