Description

This is a wall light with a deep domed shade on a slim arm, fixed to a round wall plate. We offer it in five finishes: Black, Red, Beige, Brass or Copper. A ribbed collar sits at the top of the shade, and a round pivot joint links it to the arm. The wall plate is 11cm across and the wall bracket is 22.5cm tall, so it sits neatly on the wall. It takes one E27 bulb, sold separately, which is what gives the light: choose one of 10W at most. This is a non-dimmable fitting, so it works from an ordinary on-off switch.

We think it suits the rooms where you want light on the wall rather than on a table: beside the bed in a bedroom, over a sideboard in a dining room, or next to a favourite chair in a living room. A pair either side of a bed works well too. The bulb sits deep inside the domed shade, and the light comes from its open end. Fixed to the wall, it leaves bedside tables and floor space clear. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms indoors only.

The design is pared back: a smooth domed shade, a slender arm and a plain round wall plate, with the ribbed collar as its one detail. Choose the finish that sits best with your walls, from Black, Red, Beige, Brass or Copper. It is powered from the mains and is a Class I fitting, to be wired in by a qualified electrician.
