Description

The Blux W125 is a wall light from our Blux System range: a deep dome shade on a slim arm, held out from a round wall plate. A ribbed collar crowns the shade and a round knuckle joins it to the arm, a tidy, workmanlike shape that has a quiet presence on a plain wall. It stands 22.5cm tall. It takes one E27 bulb of up to 10W, which is sold separately and gives the fitting its light, so you can choose the brightness and the warmth of light yourself. It comes in Black, Red, Beige, Brass or Copper, so you can pick a dark accent, a bright note of colour or a warm metal to sit with the rest of the room.

It suits a bedroom, a dining room or a living room. Either side of a bed, a pair gives each of you a reading light without a lamp on the bedside table; in a dining room it can light a sideboard or a favourite picture; in a living room it sits well beside an armchair or over a side table. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. It is not dimmable, so it belongs on an ordinary switch rather than a dimmer, and the bulb you choose sets how bright it is.

It runs on mains power and is wired in by a qualified electrician. It is a Class I fitting, so it is earthed and needs an earth connection at the wall. The round wall plate gives it a neat base, and the ribbed collar and rounded knuckle carry the same simple, engineered look in every finish we offer.
