Description

The Blux T30 is a table lamp from our Blux System range, built around a dome shade carried on two jointed arms above a round base. It comes in five finishes, Black, Red, Beige, Brass or Copper, so you can choose the one that sits best with your room. The shade is 18cm tall and 17cm across, and it holds one E27 bulb of up to 10W. That bulb is sold separately and is what gives the lamp its light, so pick one before the lamp arrives. Each arm is 30cm long, the stem rises 20cm from the base, and the base itself is 22cm across.

The jointed arms let you set the shade at the angle you need, so the T30 makes a practical reading lamp on a bedside table, or on a side table next to a sofa or armchair in the living room. Bring the shade down close over a book, or raise it when you want the light further across the table. In Black or Red it draws a crisp line against a pale wall, Beige sits quietly in a calmer scheme, and Brass or Copper add a warmer tone. It runs on mains power. It is rated IP20, so it is for indoor use in dry rooms only.

Its construction is simple and honest: a dome shade, two tubular arms joined at the elbow, a short stem and a round base. It is a Class II fitting and it is not dimmable, so choose your bulb for the brightness you want rather than planning on a dimmer switch, and keep to 10W or less. Before you order, check the space you have: the base needs a spot 22cm across on your bedside or side table, and with two 30cm arms the shade reaches out beyond it, so leave the lamp room to move.
