Description

The Bloom is a single-globe ceiling light that mounts a ribbed glass sphere flush to a small round cap, so it sits close overhead rather than hanging on a drop. This is the largest 300mm size in brushed brass, with a clear amber outer glass and a white acid-etched inner diffuser that turns the E27 lamp into a soft, even ball of light. At this diameter it reads as a real centrepiece held tight to the ceiling.

The larger globe gives generous general light over a dining table, a kitchen or a wide landing where headroom rules out a low pendant. Lit, the amber glass casts a warm tone; unlit, it hangs as a clean brass-rimmed ball overhead.

We supply it ready to wire. A bulb is not included, so we would fit an E27 lamp to suit, and the standard screw cap leaves a wide choice of LED brightness and colour temperature.

What kind of light does the Bloom 300mm ceiling light give?

A warm, even glow. The white acid-etched inner glass diffuses the E27 lamp into a rounded ball of light and the clear amber outer glass adds a warm tone, so the large globe reads as generous general light rather than a bright point.

What bulb does it take and is one included?

It uses a single E27 screw-cap bulb up to 42W. A bulb is not included, so we would fit an E27 lamp to suit; the standard cap means a wide choice of LED bulbs and colour temperatures.

Is it dimmable?

Dimming depends on the E27 bulb fitted. With a dimmable E27 lamp on a compatible dimmer the light can be lowered; the fitting itself has no integrated driver.
