Description

The Bloom is a small single-globe pendant that hangs one white acid-etched glass shade from a slim brass stem and ceiling rose. The etched glass turns the single G9 lamp into a soft, diffused ball of light rather than a bright point, and the brass metalwork gives it a warm edge above the pale glass. At 115mm across it is a compact fitting, made to be read on its own or repeated in a row.

One globe gives a gentle, contained pool of light, which suits a bedside, a spot over a worktop, or a group of two or three hung at staggered heights over an island or dining table. Lit, the acid-etched shade keeps the source soft and glare-free; unlit, it reads as a single clean glass ball on its brass drop.

We supply it with the G9 lamp included, ready to wire, on a black PVC cable. The drop adjusts from 570mm down to a long 2735mm, so a single piece can hang low over a table or several can be set to different lengths for a clustered look.

What kind of light does the Bloom give?

A soft, contained glow. The white acid-etched glass shade diffuses the single G9 lamp into a diffused ball of light, so it gives a gentle pool rather than a bright beam. It works well as ambient or accent light over a small area.

Does it come with a bulb?

Yes. The G9 lamp is included, so the pendant arrives ready to wire and light on its black PVC cable.

Is it dimmable?

Dimming depends on the G9 lamp fitted. With a dimmable G9 bulb on a compatible dimmer the light can be lowered; the fitting has no integrated driver.

How big is it and can I hang several together?

The glass globe is 115mm across, with an adjustable drop from 570mm to 2735mm. The long cable makes it easy to hang two or three at staggered heights over an island or dining table, or to use a single piece by a bedside.
