Description

The Blip is a modern wall light that doubles as a sign. Its rounded oblong front plate has a copper finish, and the word BAR is cut cleanly through it, so the light glows out through the letters while the plate around them stays solid. Behind it sit two G9 lamp holders; the lamps are not included, so you pick the G9 bulbs you prefer. It is a compact fitting, 10.5cm tall, 17cm wide and 9cm deep, with a shade 7cm tall and 14.5cm wide behind the lettering.

We see this copper wall light marking out a home bar, a drinks corner in a living room, a games room or a basement den, and it is just as much at home pointing guests to the bar in a pub, restaurant, café or hotel. Because the letters light up, it reads clearly across a dim room and gives an evening space a warm, welcoming glow. The case is plastic, finished in copper, with a fine brushed texture across the front that catches the light in the room even when the lamps are off.
