Description

The Knightsbridge blank grid module is a smoked bronze faceplate component that fills unused positions in Grid system mounting frames. It clips into place from the front of the frame without tools or fixings, allowing the installation to be completed with a consistent finish across all grid positions whether they're occupied by functional switches, sockets, data ports or blanks.

Designed for use in Grid system installations where not all positions are needed immediately, the blank module keeps dust and debris out of the mounting frame and presents a finished appearance on the wall. It can be removed later without disturbing adjacent modules if an additional switch or outlet is added, making it useful in office fit-outs, new builds and domestic installations where future requirements may expand.

The smoked bronze finish gives a dark metallic accent that pairs with both contemporary and industrial interiors, providing a warmer alternative to polished chrome or matt black. The module measures 56.3mm high by 24.8mm wide and sits 12.8mm proud of the mounting frame once clipped into position. The ABS and steel construction carries a 25-year warranty and an IP20 rating for dry indoor use.

What is the Grid system?

The Knightsbridge Grid system is a modular wiring accessory platform that allows multiple switches, sockets, data ports and blanks to be combined in a single mounting frame. Modules clip into frames from the front, so configurations can be changed without rewiring the back box.

Can the blank module be removed later?

Yes. The module clips in from the front and can be unclipped without tools if you need to add a functional module to that position later. Adjacent modules are not disturbed when removing or adding individual grid components.

What mounting frame does this fit?

This module fits all Knightsbridge Grid mounting frames. Frames are sold separately and are available in 1-gang, 2-gang, 3-gang and larger configurations depending on the number of module positions needed.
