Description

This is a pair of round baskets in braided water hyacinth, sold together as a set of two and natural in colour. The larger basket is 37cm across and 36cm tall, and the smaller is 26cm across and 26cm tall, so one works as a floor basket while the other sits easily on a shelf or table. Both share the same shape: a full, rounded body that narrows to a short, upright neck, with two braided loop handles rising from the rim. They are made of water hyacinth and iron, and the thick, twisted cord gives each basket a deep, chunky texture.

The larger basket suits the floor beside a sofa or at the foot of a bed, holding folded throws, spare cushions, children's toys or a stack of magazines.
