Description

The Bissi is a dome pendant light in matt white: a single, smooth aluminium dome that hangs from the ceiling on a 1.5m textile cable. The dome is deep and rounded, opening out to a softly rolled rim, and it directs the light of one E27 lamp down towards whatever sits beneath it. The lamp is not included, so the bulb is your choice: a warm white E27 lamp for a living room or bedroom, a brighter one over a desk. The matt white finish keeps the surface even and gentle, with no shine to catch the eye, and the plain shape lets the light do the work.

We see it hung singly over a dining table, a sideboard or beside a bed, where it gives a focused light exactly where you want it; two or three in a row work well over a long table. It suits a hallway or landing too, and a home office or reading corner where a practical, uncluttered shape sits well.
