Description

The Bezamby is a small tealight holder in red glass, made from glass and metal and standing 8cm tall and 7cm across. The tinted glass is fluted all the way round, its fine vertical ribs running the full height of the sides, and it sits on a gold-coloured cylindrical base that raises the glass a little above the table. Light a tealight inside and the ribs break the flame into soft lines of warm red light, while the colour still reads clearly by day. At 0.2KG it is light enough to move from room to room without a second thought.

We think it looks its best indoors on a mantelpiece, a bookshelf, a side table or a bedside table, anywhere a small pool of candlelight is welcome in the evening. The red glass and gold-coloured base sit happily alongside blush pinks, terracotta and warm neutrals, and they add a spot of colour to a pale shelf even when no candle is lit. Group three or four down the centre of a dining table for a dinner with friends, or set a pair either side of a mirror on a console.
