Description

The Beyond is a recessed downlight built around a small adjustable light source that sinks into the ceiling, its tube tilting to aim the beam rather than firing straight down. An integrated 7W LED sits in a slim white barrel and throws a tight 36 degree cone, so it reads as directed accent light: angled onto a picture, a worktop or an alcove, or lined up to graze a wall. Set into the plaster it all but disappears, leaving just the aimed head on show.

The light source clicks in and out of its frame without tools, which makes fitting and any later swap quick. It runs a Bridgelux COB LED at a warm 3000K with a colour rendering index above 90, so colours stay true under the beam, and a tight SDCM of 3 keeps one fitting matching the next across a run. It gives 680 lumens in the beam, around 430 lumens usefully on the surface. The driver is supplied and wires in separately; the fitting is on-off only, so it is not dimmable.

The frame that trims it into the ceiling, whether a trim, trimless or plaster version for an invisible edge, is an accessory and is not included, so it is chosen to match your ceiling and opening. Rated IP20 with an IP40 front and built to insulation class II, it is made for dry indoor rooms. The barrel measures 30mm across and 126mm deep behind the ceiling. We supply the light source and its driver on a five-year warranty; the recessing frame is added separately.

No. It is an on-off fitting and is not dimmable, and the LED module is integrated rather than a replaceable bulb. The electronic driver is included and wires in separately from the light head.
